Jen Lutz

ABOUT: My husband, Brock and I have 4 lively children--ages 14, 13, 11 and 11.  My jobs are unique and varied.  Being a mom to three sons and a daughter is my most important job--it’s a mix of nurse, secretary, chauffeur, cook, and comforter in chief . In addition, I’ve done interior design work for Balsam Hill Christmas Tree Company (I style and shoot Christmas Trees along with my friend and photography Rachel Cuthbert).  In 2018, I created my own lifestyle blog, JenniferLutzatHome.com.  It includes recipes, ideas for holidays, and home decorating tips.  Finally, this past fall I took on the roll as General Manager of Penny’s Coffee shop on campus. 

Hobbies: Reading, cooking, decorating, knitting

Favorite Bucket List Item: Would love to plan a family trip to Italy

Favorite College Memory: Meeting some of my dearest friends in the entire world.

Proudest Accomplishment: That I continue strive to grow and improve in my personal and work life. Often I can grow discouraged by the day to day slog--but when I look at the whole mosaic and my growth as a mom, blogger, stylist, etc..., then I’m encouraged to just keep swimming. : ) 

Heather Miller

ABOUT: Wife to Zack (2011 grad and current Senior Director of Admissions), mom to Conner (9 months), and dog-mom to Lucy (Golden Retriever). I spend much of my time with Conner but also work part-time aiding third and fourth graders and coaching a variety of sports for Hillsdale Academy. We attend Countryside Bible Church and love investing in our Hillsdale community.

Hobbies: I love anything active or sports-related, going for walks with our golden retriever, reading good books, playing card games and board games, having good chats over coffee, cooking yummy sweets,  and spending time with my family and friends.

Favorite Bucket List Item: A visit to the Swiss Alps in Grindelwald, Switzerland, in 2019 with my husband and good friends

Favorite College Memory: Late night heart-to-hearts over ice cream in AJ’s 

Katherine Rick

ABOUT: I currently live in Hillsdale with my husband Adam (the college chaplain) and son Julian. Little Rick #2 is on the way, due in July.

Hobbies: Horseback riding, woodworking, hanging out with my adorable son!

Favorite Bucket List Item: Does growing up in the coldest inhabited place on earth count? The current temperature in Yakutsk, Russia is -62.
